RETURNS & REFUNDS

Not satisfied with your purchase or changed your mind after receiving your order? We understand that sometimes plans change. Our aim is to ensure you are happy with your shopping experience and never feel stuck with a product you won’t use.

To make things simple, we offer an easy 3-step return process. Once your return is approved, a refund coupon code equivalent to the product value will be issued for future use.


HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM

1. Inform Us

  • Email the product name and images to support@houseofmeira.in Contact us within 48 hours of receiving the order

  • Once approved, you will receive confirmation to proceed

2. Ship the Product Back

  • Return the product within 5 days of approval

  • Items must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging

  • Return shipping costs are to be borne by the customer

  • Products returned without original packaging or in damaged condition will not be eligible for a refund coupon

  • Use a reliable courier service and share the tracking details with us

3. Refund Processing

  • Once we receive the returned item, we will notify you within 24–48 hours

  • After a quality check, the applicable refund coupon will be issued as per our policy


ORDER CANCELLATION

  • Orders are generally processed within 2 hours of placement

  • Cancellation is allowed only before the order is shipped

  • Orders cancelled before dispatch can be refunded as:

    • A refund coupon code, or

    • Refund to the original payment method, subject to a 5% deduction towards payment gateway charges


REFUND POLICY

MODE OF REFUND

  • Refunds are issued only as a coupon code

  • Coupon codes are one-time use only

  • Valid for 1 year from the date of issue

  • Cannot be reused or combined with other coupons


APPLICABLE DEDUCTIONS

  • ₹250 deduction for prepaid orders not accepted (forward & reverse shipping charges)

  • Remaining balance will be issued as a refund coupon code

  • No bank transfer or refund to original payment method for undelivered or returned packages

  • If a refund coupon from a previous order is used on a new order and that order is cancelled or rejected, the coupon will expire

  • For prepaid transactions where payment is deducted but order confirmation is not received, please contact us before placing another order. If a new order is placed without confirmation, 5% payment gateway charges will be deducted from the refund

  • If shipping charges were waived under any offer, ₹125 will be deducted while issuing the refund coupon


ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS

  • All products are eligible for return against a refund coupon code

  • Used, damaged, or items returned without original packaging are not eligible

  • Such items can be shipped back to the customer at an additional ₹125 shipping charge

  • Returns not reported within 48 hours or not received by us within 5 days of approval will not be accepted

  • All products go through strict quality checks; dissatisfaction with quality alone does not qualify for a cash refund


REFUND TIMELINE

  • Refund coupon codes are issued within 3 working days of receiving the returned product or confirming cancellation

  • Refund coupons cannot be combined with other offer codes

  • Only one coupon code can be used per order

  • Orders placed using a refund coupon are not eligible for additional discounts

  • For damaged products, customers may choose between a replacement or a refund coupon


DAMAGED PRODUCT RECEIVED

All products go through a 3-level quality check before dispatch. However, rare transit damage may occur.

STEP 1: REPORT WITHIN 48 HOURS

  • Share an unboxing video or clear photos showing the damage

  • Email the details to support@houseofmeira.in within 48 hours of delivery

  • Our team will respond within 48 hours

STEP 2: REVERSE PICKUP

  • If approved, we will arrange a free reverse pickup within 24 hours

  • Please ensure the product is ready for pickup

  • If pickup fails, the customer must ship the product back at their own cost

STEP 3: RESOLUTION

  • Upon successful pickup, we will either:

    • Dispatch a replacement (subject to availability), or

    • Issue a full-value refund coupon code valid for 1 year

  • No cash or bank refunds are provided in damage or replacement cases
